Rise Up & Recover App

I’ve using an app called Rise Up & Recover to log my meal plan, and I LOVE IT! I record what I eat (meal log) but I also record how I’m feeling while I’m eating. In addition, there is a section for notes/context and a section for ED behaviors done around the eating. I am so beyond amazed and proud that I haven’t had to use that section yet! At the end of the week I export the log to my dietitian so she can see in detail what happened that week.

Logging the feelings during meal or snack time has been a powerful awakening — I have many more feelings than I ever realized! And just acknowledging them each time I’m eating means I’m checking in with myself at least 6 times a day on how I’m feeling. That is a great exercise even on its own!

I can’t recommend this app enough. So easy to use and simple in its purpose.
